SAND is more than what it appears to be. Microscopically, it is a vast jumble of unique shapes and textures like tiny glass sculptures. From the human eye, the grains all look the same and cover a vast amount of space. Although SAND is a mass of tiny, hard particles, together they create a soft and pliable surface. People too are made up of a vast array of unique, shapes, colors and textures. Individually, we are beautifully and magnificently made yet we can at times seem hard, separate and immovable. Together, in cooperation with one another perhaps we too can provide a soft and pliable substance that maintains individuality while working together to create something greater. SAND is miraculous in its beauty and diversity. It is miraculous in its mirror of the human experience. SAND is miraculous and so are we.
