Which Side Is The Whole?

cc-60951926_ce28b7a4b9_qCOINS, flat metal discs that symbolize a measure of abundance have two distinct sides, typically called heads and tails.  The heads side alone is not the COIN.  The tails side alone is not the COIN.  The COIN is a multi-dimensional object representing at least two distinct sides to one idea.  In our lives there are a variety of thoughts, ideas and feelings.  Each have more than one side, more than one perspective.  The idea of abundance for instance has two sides; giving and receiving. They are equally important. One cannot fully exist without the other.  If there is no receiving, nothing has truly been given.  If there is no giving, nothing is received.  The space in which we live fully in the abundance of God lies in the balance between the two sides of the abundance COIN.  What idea, feeling or emotion is tugging at your consciousness today?  How many sides does it have?  Is it like a COIN with two distinct sides; each having equal importance? And where is the point of balance between the two?  How can you move yourself into that place of balance and experience what is whole?  Could a simple flip of the COIN be the miracle in your life today?

telescope.cc.2461355915_755e9708eb_mA TELESCOPE houses a set of lenses that allow us to see over a great distance.  As I look through my telescope I can see the eagles nesting in the cellular tower ½ mile away.  They are just tiny specs, almost imperceptible to my physical eyes, but focusing this set of lenses I can see them as they build their nest, raise their young and then fly off to distant places. Through these lenses I can see the stars, satellites passing by, and the craters of the moon.  I can see things that are always there but too far away to see.  Did you know that we each have a telescope within us?  There are lenses we see through that can be focused to see more clearly.  We call this perspective and we can choose a new perspective any time.  We can also widen the lens to include other perspectives, gaining a greater view. We also have within us the ability to see the invisible.  Some call this faculty the third eye. Some call it clairvoyance.  The Hebrew Scriptures called those who could see the invisible prophets.  This inner telescope does not need to stretch out to see more clearly.  Rather, we simply need to allow the physical eyes to grow dim, to see through them less and behold instead the vision within us.  Seeing through spiritual eyes is like viewing a holograph that takes shape in our very midst.  The holograph is malleable, formable and greatly responsive to Light.  As I view the holographic image of myself and the world around me I see more clearly.  Judgment transforms to discernment.  Heaviness transforms to movement. Shadows become illuminated. Telescopes are miraculous devices and the telescope in me is miraculously and wondrously made.

A Miracle A Day, Day 79

wheels.cc.1322753070_a494547d12_qWHEELS.  Who can deny the incredible difference the discovery of the WHEEL has made on our human experience.  WHEELS move our vehicles, operate intricate machinery, and make our work in the world easier and more efficient.  And then there are the WHEELS in our minds.  The ability to turn things over and all around.  While these can operate when we wish they would rest, they also provide us with perspective, inspiration and the ability to move.  The WHEEL came into being because a WHEEL began to turn within the mind of a human being.  A WHEEL is the manifestation of an idea that carries heavy loads with ease.  There is a WHEEL in each of us that can carry the heaviest of loads and move us forward with ease and grace.  We access this WHEEL when we release the load, the thoughts, the worries and concerns and allow the ever moving breath of Spirit to flow through our minds and hearts.

A Miracle A Day, Day 59

timeTIME, precious time. TIME It is relative to my perception of it.  TIME races, TIME marches, TIME moves ever so-o-o-o slo-o-o-wly.  TIME fights me.  TIME is on my side. The miracle of TIME is both bound by the laws of physics and transcendent of them through the way I choose to experience it.  TIME is relative, an illusion that I can allow to have power over me, or I can use in a way which empowers me.  In Truth, there is only one moment, the NOW moment.  Centered in the NOW moment I transcend the boundaries of TIME and space.  I visit the past.  I travel to the future.  Both are malleable from this now moment.  I can, right now, change the past by the energy I hold it in.  In this now moment I can rewrite the past from a new, empowered perspective thus changing my experience of it.  The future is also changeable by what I write in my mind in this very moment.  Forgiving the past, opening to love in the present, writing my thoughts and feelings from a place of oneness and wholeness I create a vibrant, abundant and harmonious future.  TIME is an illusion that has no power over me.  I am the master of TIME and I write my story from a place of oneness and wholeness in Spirit.

A Miracle A Day, Day 58

perspectivePERSPECTIVE, a technique employed by artists, miraculously gives dimension and space to a drawing on a flat surface. Math and geometry in the placement of lines, objects and shading bring a drawing to life giving the viewer a sense of distance and volume.  Beyond the canvas, PERSPECTIVE is the way in which individuals view something, influenced by their position, experiences, and a multitude of other factors.  What a miracle that all things can be viewed in a myriad of PERSPECTIVES.  Far from being the challenge we sometimes ascribe to PERSPECTIVES, a multitude of viewpoints adds dimension to a virtual kaleidoscope of Life.  Sharing and honoring differing PERSPECTIVES gives us an opportunity to know one another more deeply, to briefly view life through another’s eyes and ultimately expand our own PERSPECTIVE.  What dimension might be added to my life today by viewing something through another’s eyes?
